Abundance Pricing Model

Pay Equity Framework Prototype

In a deliberate effort to align Lovelution Inc’s business practices with our values of sovereignty, community, and accountability plus our courageous commitment to integrity and truth-telling, our founder has developed the following pay equity framework prototype for clients to choose their own fee for 1:1 work.

Each tier aligns with a value to reinforce how to model values-aligned business practices.

This Abundance Pricing Model is on an honor system where you determine what is right for you based on the level of your income and generational wealth. We wholeheartedly believe in disrupting, divorcing, and dismantling from White Supremacy along with capitalism.

May this be an act of both resistance and abundance to detach from ego and radically accept what’s possible with class transparency.

We are committed to reporting the numbers at the end of the year to be accountable while sharing reflections on closing the equity gap for the folx we intend to center in our work Black, Indigenous & Folx of the Global Majority.

Our CEO, Jillian “Mama J” Love,  has mapped out the number of clients who can support at each level.

Once that spot is maxed out, a waiting list for that rate will be started.

Below are suggestions for how you might determine your rate, and a short FAQ.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Accountability Rate

You are ready to put something on the line because you know you have financially benefited from the current system and/or you’re ready to pay it forward. Here are examples of how financial benefits might show up for you:

  • My education and/or experiences were paid for by my parents, grandparents, or other relatives/connections
  • I have or will inherit significant wealth (six-figures or higher)
  • Someone else paid or pays my rent/mortgage/down payment
  • I have savings, investments, and/or retirement accounts
  • I own or lease a luxury brand car or multiple cars
  • I own my home, and possibly multiple properties
  • I had access to wealth & gave it away

Note: Please select this rate if your coaching is being financially supported by your organization

Community Rate

You have sufficient financial resources and can pay fair value for the experience.  Here are examples of how this might show up for you:

  • I am employed and have an expendable income
  • I have or might inherit some money or p property in my lifetime (less than $100k)
  • I own my home/property or rent a higher-end property
  • I can afford to take an annual vacation or take time off
  • I travel recreationally (non-COVID times)
  • I have some money in savings or retirement accounts
  • I can always buy new items
  • Paying for coaching might require some budgeting, but it wouldn’t prevent me from meeting my basic needs
  • Most people in my family have at least a bachelor’s degree
  • My friends and family could provide support in times of financial need or transitions

Sovereignty Rate

You are ready to stand in your power. However, you are experiencing limited financial resources and will benefit from access supplemented by the community. Here are examples of how this might show up for you:

  • I sometimes help my family (origin or chosen) with $$ for basic living expenses
  • I may stress about meeting my basic needs but still regularly achieve them
  • I have some debt but it does not prohibit meeting my basic needs
  • I am employed, I have access to health care
  • I rent my home or live with my family
  • I have moderate debt & budget my finances
  • I might have access to savings
  • I have some expendable income
  • I am able to buy some new items and thrift others
  • My parent(s) might not have graduated from college

Frequently Asked Questions

Which rate should I choose?

Capitalism has warped our sense of giving and receiving, and so I ask you to examine your instinctive desire to pay less or more, then choose the opposite (this may feel counterintuitive). I say this because I often find that those with more wealth are less willing to pay more, and those with less wealth are often the most generous with their money.

Therefore, If you have financial support systems, earning income, and enjoy privileges based on your social location, I encourage you to pay at a higher rate, to ensure lower rates for those that would otherwise find coaching inaccessible. If you are struggling to pay basic needs, I encourage you to choose the reparations or community-supported rate, as a small payment on the debt of generations of exploitation that capitalism and white supremacy have inflicted on you and your ancestors.
