Beginnings...
“The day I started the third trimester of my pregnancy—
September 1, 2014, I found myself at an unexpected fork in my professional path that gave me the opportunity to dream into my next lifelong dream—motherhood.
This created the revolution to step away from the traditional workforce for two and a half years to raise my daughter.
I lovingly call this time period my Mama Sabbatical.”

What's calling YOU with revolutionary LOVE?
As I began to mother this incredible human, I quickly realized how I needed to unlearn how I was mothered and relearn how to Love Myself like a Mother™ unconditionally like I was mothering Jaylin—with unconditional love, awe, and understanding. As I reparented myself, began my journey of practicing child-led parenting, which morphed into parenting across two homes, racial, and gender differences.
During this journey back home to my authentic self, I simultaneously realized 3 things:
- There is no Justice without Joy.
- Radical rest is essential to sustainable sovereignty.
- It’s time to put something on the line as a collective.
What began as a time of uncertainty, in hindsight, the Mama Sabbatical fundamentally changed my relationship with time, how I viewed myself as a leader, and the work I do in the world.
I answered the call.
The call to meet the unexpected fork in my professional path to love, live and lead with the Intentional Justice™ Method. Doing so, allows Jaylin and I to be in right relationship with one another as mama and daughter as we learn and grow together.
